Vice President, Abilene
As a Trust Compliance Officer, Daena oversees all regulatory requirements for each of the First Financial Trust offices located throughout Texas. She serves as a liaison between First Financial Trust and the external government regulatory agency and external audits. Other duties include planning and designing risk management processes as well as reviewing and updating policies and procedures to maintain effective risk management and control for the trust company.
Daena re-joined First Financial Trust in March 2016 and was promoted in July 2019 to Trust Compliance Officer. She began her financial services career as a personal banker with First Financial Bank in 2008 before joining First Financial Trust as a trust accounting clerk in 2011. She graduated in 2008 from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting.
Daena volunteers her time to serve the Abilene community by assisting a non-profit youth basketball program.
