Grant joined First Financial Trust after 9 years as a practicing attorney focusing on transactional matters, including real estate, business formation, estate planning, and probate. During that time, he also worked with several Abilene title companies where he gained significant experience in all facets of the real estate escrow and title insurance industry.
He graduated summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Text. In 2012, he earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, and he remains a member of the Texas Bar College and the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
Grant joined First Financial Trust in January 2022, where his focus includes trust administration, wealth management, and estate planning/administration. In October 2024, he earned the industry designation of Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA).
He is actively involved in the Abilene community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Big Country CASA, All Kind Animal Initiative (Vice President), Eastern Little League (Treasurer), and the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature (Past Chair). He and his wife, Laura, and their three children are members of The Well church.
