Yancey co-manages Core and Strategic Growth Portfolios, focusing on finding investment opportunities for these diversified portfolios in both developed and developing markets. He also manages the investments within both First Financial and client 401(k) plans.

He focuses his analysis on the healthcare and consumer discretionary sectors.

Yancey joined First Financial Trust in 2008 as a portfolio analyst and previously was an Edward Jones registered investment advisor.

Currently a CFA Level III candidate, he earned a management and marketing degree in 2001 from Abilene Christian University and an MBA in 2003 from the University of Texas at Arlington.

His civic involvement has included serving as co-chair of the Western Heritage Classic Chuckwagon Cookoff, as a member of the board of the Taylor County Expo Center, and as a Hope for Life board member.
