Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer
Gary Gragg joined First Financial in 1990, as Vice President and Manager of the Company’s loan review program. In 2005, Mr. Gragg was elevated to the Chief Lending Officer of the Company. His responsibilities include coordinating and managing all lending functions as well as overseeing various loan support departments within the Company. He is also actively involved in all of the Company’s acquisition activities. Mr. Gragg began his banking career in 1978, while still in college, at the Citizens National Bank of Abilene. Following graduation, he joined Citizens National as a credit analyst and worked there (and at successor organizations) until 1990. During that time he took on a variety of jobs including Manager of the Credit Department, Manager of Loan Review, Manager of Credit Administration, Commercial Lending Officer and West Texas area manager for Problem Loan Workouts.
Mr. Gragg graduated in 1981 with a BBA in finance from Hardin-Simmons University.
