Chris Schjetnan

 Experience 

Schjetnan joined First Financial Bank in 2012, after having spent 7 years at Wells Fargo in credit and branch management positions.  He oversees the bank’s affordable banking initiatives, which focus on traditionally underserved communities.  Chris has been heavily involved in the development and growth of our ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) and Affordable Home Mortgage programs, working daily to partner with community organizations across the bank’s footprint on financial education and literacy programs.

Education

Born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, in a bilingual and bicultural household.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western New Mexico University. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University as well as the American Bankers Association Commercial Lending School.
