Experience

Dan Summerford is a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience in corporate and middle-market banking. He currently serves as a vital member of the commercial banking team at First Financial, where he leverages his extensive expertise to enhance the bank's corporate banking initiatives. 

Dan began his banking career in 1994 with Wells Fargo Bank. He has since held various senior and executive management positions across numerous financial institutions, primarily in the Southeast Texas market. Before joining First Financial, he was the Managing Director and Head of Houston Commercial Banking at East West Bank.

Education

Dan earned his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and graduated from the Western States School of Banking at the University of New Mexico. His comprehensive background and commitment to banking and community development position him as a valuable asset to First Financial and the communities he serves.

Activities

Dan actively dedicates himself to community service in addition to his professional accomplishments. He has actively contributed to local organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees for the Cypress Fairbanks Educational Foundation and as a member of the Katy (West Houston) Area Economic Development Council.
