James Hinton

A lifelong Texan and DFW resident, Mr. Hinton's roots run deep in the Dallas business community. His family founded and operated a successful mortgage banking company in 1950, which he led after graduating from SMU in 1973 until its sale in 1992. With over four decades of experience in mortgage finance, he's served on numerous industry committees and contributed to publications. He also served as a certified SCORE mentor, guiding small business startups. Mr. Hinton, his wife, and their two adult children reside in Farmers Branch.
