Jay C. Palmer

Jay Palmer has 30 years of leadership and experience in the asset management and retirement plan recordkeeping industry. He serves as a retirement plan advisor for our Houston and Southeast Texas Regions. Prior to joining First Financial Wealth Management, Jay spent 25 years at investment manager Invesco and helped build their retirement plan business. He also worked for American Trust Retirement in various roles, including leading their sales team.

Jay earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. He has held numerous FINRA licenses and currently holds his CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation, as well as the CMFC, CAS, and CRSP.

In his spare time, Jay enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and pets. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys anything outside. He is proficient with a chainsaw, hand tools, behind the wheel or handlebars, and with retirement plans.
