Josh Brown

Josh is a seasoned HR professional with over 17 years of experience. He joined First Financial Bank in 2014 and was appointed SVP, Director of Human Resources, in January of 2022. In July 2025, he was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Josh earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Tarleton State University. He also completed the Texas Tech School of Banking Program. He holds the designation of SHRM-Senior Certified Professional. He is active in the SHRM community, currently serving as President-elect for the Big Country Society for Human Resource Management.

Mr. Brown is a graduate of the Leadership Abilene program class of 2018. Is heavily involved in First Financial’s Service Improvement Team, serving on a number of committees and Tiger Teams.
