Michael Kiefer, CPA

With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, Michael W. Kiefer serves as Senior Vice President and Trust Relationship Manager for the Southeast Texas Region at First Financial Trust, where he focuses on developing client relationships and administering trusts and estates.

Michael began his career with Wathen, DeShong & Juncker, LLP in 1991 and became a partner in 2003. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lamar University.

 He is a former board member of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Currently, Michael is a member of the Lamar University Planned Giving Council and an at-large board member for Camp Pearl Ministries. He is also active in his local church, where he has served as a deacon for over ten years. Michael has been married for over 30 years and has one daughter who is currently in graduate school.
