Wes Masters has been in mortgage lending since 1995. He moved his family from Amarillo to San Angelo in August of 2006 to develop the mortgage center for San Angelo National Bank, which is part of First Financial. He is an FHA, VA, and Conventional Underwriter, and most recently, he earned his Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist certification (CMPS), which focuses on the utilization of mortgages as a strategic tool in wealth creation strategies, cash flow management, and on the utilization of the mortgage to increase and/or preserve wealth. In 2025, Wes moved into the Texas Panhandle to serve our customers in the Hereford and surrounding areas.

A published author, he has received numerous recognitions for originations and creative financing and is an active member of the State and National Associations for both Mortgage Banking and Mortgage Brokering. He has served as a local director for the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and currently serves with the San Angelo Home Builders Association. He has worked extensively with credit-impaired borrowers and has assisted thousands of families through the home-buying process. He is a Pro-Realtor and is passionate about mortgage lending.

He and his wife, Karla, have been married over 25 years, and they have 4 children.
