Richard Vaughan

Rick joined First Financial Wealth Management in August of 2024 as a Relationship Manager.  Rick prides himself on developing a thorough understanding of his client’s needs and preferences and on building a long-term relationship. Responsibilities of the role include business development, estate planning, retirement planning, and trust administration.

With a heavy emphasis on relationship management, Rick has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years in California, Washington, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. Most recently, Rick worked for five years directing the Private Banking division of a small Community Bank in Santa Fe, NM. During his career, Rick has worked to provide a relationship-based, universal banking experience to a diverse client base, helping them succeed with their investment, trust, banking, and credit needs.

Rick graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1993 and will complete the Southwest Graduate School of Banking program in June of 2025.

Rick and his wife, Kim, have transitioned to San Angelo and are excited to become part of the West Texas community. They have two daughters (Morgan – 23 and Marina – 17). Rick and Kim enjoy time with family – especially supporting their daughter’s success in high school sports and in college rodeo.
