Sarah Bacon

Experience

Sarah Bacon is an accomplished accounting and finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing. She joined First Financial Bankshares, Inc. in 2018 and has steadily advanced through key roles within the accounting department. Before her current position, she served as Senior Staff Accountant & Accounting Officer from 2018 to 2020, VP Accounting Officer from 2020 to 2024, and as SVP, Accounting Officer from 2024 to 2026.

Before joining First Financial, Sarah worked in public accounting at Whitley Penn LLP in Dallas, specializing in audits for a diverse client portfolio.

Education

 She earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (2013) and Master of Accountancy (2015) from Abilene Christian University. Sarah is also a Certified Public Accountant. In 2024, she graduated with Academic Distinction from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. She is currently participating in FFIN University, further strengthening her leadership and banking expertise.
