Assistant Vice President, Abilene
Landon O. Berg serves as an Assistant Vice President for First Financial Trust in the Oil and Gas Department. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 2010 receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, with a minor emphasis in business. He later earned a Master’s of Science Degree in Geoscience in 2020, also from Texas A&M University. Landon is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and has served as Secretary for the Abilene Geologic Society.
Prior to joining First Financial Trust in 2024, Landon worked for several Oil & Gas Exploration companies including Cabot Oil & Gas, BreitBurn Energy, eSeis, and Liberty International. During this time, he worked in many geologic provinces, developing both conventional and unconventional reservoirs in the lower 48 states and Alaska.
Landon was born and raised in Abilene, Texas and is active in many civic and church related activities. He and his wife Lauren have three children.
