Early Careers at First Financial Bank
We'll help your talents branch out
Are you looking to develop your leadership skills while getting valuable, hands-on experience working in the financial industry? If the answer is yes, our Analyst Program is the career path for you. Our entry-level lending program is designed to give our employees an understanding of the credit culture at First Financial. To create and develop a highly-qualified lending team and support staff, the Program ensures that practical competencies are integrated into the entire training process. We believe that combining education and experience is the best way to develop future leaders.
Individuals will begin their career at First Financial in one of two departments: Credit Analysis or Loan Review. As an Analyst 1, you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship as you build relationships with your coworkers. The average timeframe as an Analyst 1 is 18 to 24 months.
Once you are acclimated and complete the Analyst 1 benchmarks, you are promoted to Analyst 2 with a minimum raise of 5%. Here, you will work in either Loan Review or Credit Analysis, depending on which you have not yet completed. In this role you can focus on strengthening the analytic skills that are so important to becoming a great lender.
Once you have successfully completed your time in both Credit Analysis and Loan Review, you are met with a minimum 5% raise. In this role, you help facilitate department deadlines, train fellow analysts, and gain a deep understanding of complex lending situations. As a Senior Analyst, you will also begin to develop your interpersonal and communication skills that will be used daily as a lender.
