Youth Checking Accounts

Introducing First Checking: The Smart Start to Financial Success

First Checking is designed to help your child learn the value of money, budgeting, saving, and responsible spending. This account is the perfect way to give your child the freedom to manage their own money with oversight and guidance from you.

Why First Checking?

  • No Monthly Fees: Keep more of your child's hard-earned allowance, paycheck, or gifts without worrying about monthly charges.
  • Parental Oversight: Your child's checking account will be available in your Online and Mobile banking account. Monitor your child's spending, check balances, and make easy transfers between your own accounts.
  • Secure Online and Mobile Banking: Children 13 years of age or older can access and use Online and Mobile Banking. We have modified the digital banking experience for our youth account, offering limited capabilities to ensure your child's money stays safe. For children under the age of 13, you can access their checking account through your own, fully-functioning digital banking account.
  • Complimentary and Fun Debit Card: At your discretion, children over the age of 12 may receive a stylish, kid-friendly debit card that is perfect for everyday purchases.
  • Safety-Focused: Rest easy knowing your child's account is protected with the full strength of First Financial Bank tools, processes, and precautions.
  • A Trusted Financial Partner Into Adulthood: We offer no hassle updated account and ownership options as your child matures into adulthood. Keep the same account number, with bankers you know and trust offering the same great service!
