Enrollment with Zelle® at First Financial Bank
As a current Zelle® user, you know how fast, easy and secure Zelle® is. We are excited to announce that you now have access to Zelle® within the First Financial Bank Texas mobile app!
Whether you currently use the Zelle® app or are enrolled with Zelle® through a different financial institution, there are a few things to note with our transition.
Information for current Zelle® app users:
Starting January 8, 2025, the Zelle® Network Operator is removing the ability to enroll in Zelle® Payments Service using the standalone Zelle® app (also known as the Common Mobile App or the Purple App). This includes enrolling a new debit card, changing a debit card or re-enrollment for an existing Zelle® app user. Then, on April 1, 2025, the Network Operator is removing the ability to send or receive Zelle® payments or payment requests using the Zelle® standalone app.
Zelle® is not going away, you will only be able to enroll using the First Financial Bank Mobile App. If you do not currently have our mobile app, click below to download.
Enrolling with Zelle® through the First Financial Bank Texas app is easy and only requires an email address or U.S. phone number.
Before enrolling, you must contact our Customer Care team at 855-660-5862 and let them know you want to enroll.
Step 1: Click "Send Money with Zelle®" from the mobile homepage.
Step 2: Select the U.S. phone number or email address you wish to enroll under.
Step 3: Accept the Terms and Conditions and you are done! It really is that simple!
Information for customers enrolled with Zelle® through a different financial institution:
Much like the enrollment process listed above, enrolling with Zelle® through the First Financial Bank Texas mobile app is easy! If you are currently enrolled with Zelle® through a financial institution other than First Financial Bank, you might receive the below message during the enrollment process:
If you receive this message, there are two options to move forward:
- You can choose to move your Zelle® enrollment to your First Financial Bank accounts. If you select Yes, Continue, you will be unenrolled with Zelle® through your current bank, and enrolled with First Financial. Once completed, you can send and receive money directly from the First Financial Bank Texas mobile app.
- Stay enrolled with Zelle® through your current bank, and use a different U.S. mobile phone number or email for your First Financial Bank Zelle® enrollment. Please note, if you choose this option you will need to remember which phone number or email address is associated with which financial institution each time you send or receive a payment.
