Josh Kreitler
Joshua Douglas Kreitler, VP of Mortgage Lending at First Financial Mortgage in the San Angelo Branch, has been in the financial sector for over 20 years. After graduating from Angelo State University, he began working at Performant Financial Services (formally DCS Inc.) as a portfolio manager. Shortly after earning his master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology, he was promoted to Senior Division Manager where he managed over 140 employees for 10 plus years in the financial collections sector for the Department of Education at Performant Financial Services. After Covid forced the closure of his department in the government student loan sector, Josh joined the Mortgage industry where he served as the senior loan processor for two years and gained a substantial amount of insight into the secondary mortgage loan industry. Given his vast experience in credit, debt resolution, and QM loan program qualifications he made the transition to a mortgage originator.
Josh met his wife while they were in college at Angelo State University. They have been married for over 18 years and have a daughter (Jaycee) who is 10 years old and participates in competitive dance competition across the state. They are members of Sierra Vista Methodist Church where Josh serves as the Chair of the Trustee Committee. When Josh is not in the office working with his clients, he enjoys volunteering at his daughter’s school, participating in community non-profit organizational events, playing pickleball with his wife and their friends, restoring vintage dirt bikes, and fishing with anyone willing to go with him
