Chief Executive Officer, Abilene
In his role as chairman, Kirk leads both the Board of Directors as well as the Investment Committee.
As president and CEO, he oversees a team of dedicated professionals focused on client defined objectives and personalized customer service.
After graduating from Abilene Christian University with an accounting degree in 1983, Kirk joined First National Bank of Abilene as an assistant trust officer. He worked in the trust division of InterFirst Bank Abilene from 1986 until 1989, when he rejoined First National, now First Financial Bank. Three years later, Kirk received the Chairman’s Award from the bank for distinguished service.
In 1995, Kirk earned a graduate certificate with honors from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He also is a CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor).
Involved with a variety of professional and civic groups over the years, Kirk currently serves on the Administrative Council of the Texas Bankers Association’s Wealth Management & Trust Division and the Abilene Regional Airport board.
