He received a bachelor of arts degree from Southwestern University, a master of science degree in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University, and a juris doctor degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Sierra joined First Financial Trust in 2020 and has served on various nonprofit boards in the San Antonio area.
